PRE-PROJECT SURVEY OF THE EQUIPMENT
The purpose of the pre-project survey is to get acquainted with the equipment and technology that will be automated, as well as the infrastructure of the object to bring all the necessary communications.
At this stage, we, as developers of the APCS, work closely with the Customer’s technologists to identify key needs and select the appropriate solution. The more precisely the technology is presented and the more precisely the automation objectives are described, the more effective the control system will be.
For more accurate understanding of the needs of the customer and the selection of the most effective solution, we ask for the following information which then become the basis for the project of the APCS:
Process flowchart of the installation with its description;
Specification of the main equipment and pipelines;
Plans, sections of buildings and structures, drawings of major equipment;
Characteristics of the power supply of the installation (electricity, compressed air, heat, cold);
The characteristics of raw materials and finished products;
Automation purposes.
The result of the pre-project survey is a technical-commercial proposal.
